We are proud to announce the achievement of an important company goal: we have obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 certification, which demonstrates the compliance of our environmental management system with the well-known international standard. This certification demonstrates the value we place on respecting the environment: reducing the impact generated by waste as much as possible, improving the use of resources, using environmentally sustainable raw materials as much as possible and increasing the sustainability of our operations are just some of the goals we have set ourselves.
It is with great pride that we inform you that we have obtained the certification of our environmental management system according to the international standard UNI EN ISO 14001:2015.
Companies that obtain this certification have adequate procedures in place to measure, reduce and manage their environmental impact.
The development of an Environmental Management System, certified according to UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, allows to manage in a harmonious way the environmental aspects inherent in business processes, with a view to efficiency and improvement of environmental performance, allowing to obtain important advantages, even in a logic of sustainability.
The certification requires Zoccarato Industrial Coatings to consider all environmental issues relevant to our operations, to have a strategy to manage them, and to continually improve our systems and approaches to address them.
ISO 14001:2015 certification functions as a quality assurance in an organization’s environmental management systems, and any company’s compliance with its certification can be audited. This means that anyone dealing with a certified company can be reassured that the company has adequate procedures in place to measure, reduce and manage its environmental impact.
This important milestone is in addition to our UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, the international standard for quality management system.
We must see the achievement of this certification as a starting point and not as an arrival point, a cue to improve day by day and not as an end in itself; the ultimate goal of the standard is to lead us all to work together to continuously improve and reduce our environmental impact, a goal that can be achieved only with the commitment of all of us.
